Description:  
CAUTION: VERY PHYSICALLY CHALLENGING! For the experienced hiker only! A 12.5 mile loop hike in the Cosby area. Ascending 3,400ft up Snake Den Ridge from old growth cove forest to Spruce- Fir forest at Inudu Knob - then traveling north on the Appalachian Trail on a 1800 ft descent over Camel Hump Knob past the Cosby Knob to Low gap Trail. Final leg descending Low Gap Trail 1800'. See backcountry Hike Suggestions. Allow 45 minutes driving time. Limit 20 people.
