Willis and Ann Davis had a dreamﾅ to create a national park in the Smokies. Willis formed the Great Smoky Mountains Conservation Association and his wife Ann was elected to the Tennessee General Assembly in 1925 where she introduced a bill authorizing the first large parcel of land to put the dream into motion
